Sarah S. Hurtado
Sarah is a Ph.D. student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program at Indiana University. Prior to attending Indiana University, Sarah received her B.A. in Communicative Disorders from University of Redlands, her M.S.Ed in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University, and worked professionally in Residence Life and Education at California State Polytechnic University-San Luis Obispo.
Sarah works as a NSSE project associate on Team 2 (institutions F-Ni).
Sarah’s research interests include the social construction of gender and how gender identity is impacted by sexual violence and the perpetuation of gender stereotypes/roles on colleges campuses.
